Charles Thomas Laughridge, age 67 of Clarkdale, passed away at his home Sunday, February 17, 2013 after fighting a courageous battle with PSP. A celebration of Charles' life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 21st at P Read Obituary
Hi gayle this Annette I was the hospice aide that took care of charles.. he was sweet and loving man.. he made me laugh every time when I came to visit. When I didnt came he would ask where I was.. I love y'all..
So sorry to learn of Charles passing. My memories of Charles go back to Austell Elementary and to Little League baseball. Then all the way through High School.
Charles will be missed by me and many others.

My memories of Charles are those of a personality that was always smiling, pleasant, sincere and sooothing with a touch of humor, The world would be a much better place if we could duplicate his characteristice and spread them to everyone, what a good solid gentleman. I agree with Kenneth Brewer that he must be negotiating golf strokes with God as he deserves a heavenly home, which I am sure he has. We will miss him at the upcoming 50th reunion.

So sorry to learn of your loss. I remember Charles coming in the Douglas County Planning and Zoning office and calling as well. I truly enjoyed getting to know him and helping him with his zoning questions. He was one of a kind.
Gayle, Kenneth and I were so sorry to hear of Charles' passing. He was such a nice person. We both thought a lot of him. He always had a smile and was just nice to be around. We live out of state or we would be there to show our respects. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

My most sincere sympathies to the family. Since HS graduation I only saw Charles at reunions, but never forgot his smile and graciousness. Knew him most all my life as our Dad's were friend. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Sincere sympathy to Charles' family. I have fond memories of Charles from our high school years and a number of times afterward when our paths crossed. He was a true Southern Gentleman. My late husband and Charles collaborated in real estate many years ago--my husband respected him very much, too. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time. His passing is a great loss.
