Hurricane Irma kept us from knowing that Susan moved from this earth until this week. Although we didn't know Susan, her loving husband is one of my most dear cousins. Knowing she brought him such love and shared in raising a beautiful family, we pray comfort and healing for Stephen, Leslie and Chris. Be uplifted knowing Susan is only gone from this place, but very alive in the heaven God provides.

There are no words to express my sorrow. Susan and I were friends from somewhere around age 5 and beyond... Loving her and her family was an honor. May God's ocean of mercy and love surround you all.

Susan was my dear friend and neighbor for over 25 years. We were instant and "always" friends. We used to walk the neighborhood in the mornings and those were always some of my best days since they started in such an upbeat manner. We did not talk every day, but I always knew she was there for me and my family. We have laughed together and cried together and I will truly miss her with all my heart.
I pray that Stephen, Chris and Leslie will be okay at some point in time. I know it will be difficult for them all but I also know that each of them have all the strength that Susan gave to them.
I am also sorry for her siblings, friends and work family. We all lost someone so wonderful!!
