Steve Clayton age 57 of Marietta passed away Wednesday, September 17, 2014. He was a member of Victorious Life Church and retired from Fulton County Board of Education. Steve was preceded in death by his brother, Tracey Joe Clayto Read Obituary
My sympathy to all the family members. I know how much Steve loved his parents his kids and his grand kids and all the youth and church members. He's healed now.
Steve and I were kindred spirits, having lived a fun and hard life but then finding God and witnessing to those about Him. I will miss you Bro, I'll miss the phone calls for me to do your health insurance, for me to find a dress for one of the girls at church, the music we enjoyed, the parrot jokes and your love of people. I can see your smiling face in heaven watching all the ships go by. Much love to you for sharing your life with us all. See you in heaven. Your sister in Christ Janie
Dad, as I am getting ready to come see your "Earth Suit" as you always called it, for the last time....SO many memories are going through my head. There are too many to write on here, but one of my most favorite memories, is when you used to take me to work with you when I was a little girl. I thought it was so cool to watch you paint schools! I will miss our talks, your prayers and YOU. Holding on to the fact that you are pain free now, dancing with Jesus (I'm pretty sure you've already turned him in to a Parrot Head, lol), and that I will see you again. I love you Dad.... My condolence to the family in this time of grief; my prayer is that you may find peace that only God can supply in this time of mourning. Working with Steve over the years at Fulton County, he was always able to put a smile on our face with his wit and humor, he will be missed.

With deep sadness on Steven's passing, my prayers and thoughts are with Mr. & Mrs. Clayton along with Mike and all of Steven's family. He will be greatly missed. He has gone home to Our Father in Heaven, and took with him all the love of his family and friends. May you rest in peace, Steven.
