Robert Edward Miller, age 75 of Marietta, passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2015. Mr. Miller was a member of American Legion Post 294, Powder Springs. He is survived by his wife, Linda Miller; daughter, Tina Wood of Tallapoosa; s Read Obituary
Robert Edward Miller was my father's nephew, my first cousin. In this time of grieving, my thoughts are with the Miller family.
Because my late father was an orphan from the age of nine, and knew little about his roots, I have spent a good deal of time on Ancestry.com, and piecing together clues from obituaries and other documents the Miller family has sent my way. Bob was such a kind and giving man, a wonderful father and a loving and doting husband. He listened even while he joked, and was generous and a genuine person. I will always remember the many many trips to Longhorn we had together, the way he always made sure his wife had a smile on her face, and his simple happy life in front of the television. He was a great man to know in life and in gathering together after he has passed, it is an honor to share the memories of his life with each other. Even in the end, he made us laugh and that showed how much he cared that we were happy. Thank you, Bob, for being in our lives.

Bob Miller was one of the first Bingo Volunteer that was my partner as a Walker. He was funny, and always willing to challenge me to work harder. I shall miss his mischievous smile, and kind manner.
