Mr. Michael Dennis Overstreet, age 57, of Atlanta, died Sunday, April 19, 2009. He is survived by wife, Dale; son and daughter-in-law Travis and Kaiti Overstreet, daughter Kelley Overstreet all of Douglasville, sister and brother- Read Obituary
I am so sorry for yourt loss, Mike was such a great guy. Mike coached our son Ryan Wheeler at hunter park, and our son did work a little for Mike. My heart goes out to your family. It was a pleasure to have known Mike and the family. You could have not asked for a nicer person. Again, prayers are with yall.

We are so heartbroken to hear of Mike's passing and our thoughts and prayers are with the entire family. Like Micki says, Mike gave us so many good memories through our years together in youth baseball and in fellowship. He was as generous and selfless as any man I - knew during those times. He loved the kids he coached. Alex truly loved him. There wasn't anything we asked of him that he said no. He made us laugh so many times. He loved those 4th of July fish fry events. He blessed us in so many ways and it's sad to know maybe we let it slip away from us when he needed us. I'm probably like a lot of people right now - wish I could have done more for him. He had himself a wife of a lifetime in Dale - truly one of the most selfless women in this world - and he loved Travis and Kelli tremendously. We just pray that the Lord's love will fill everyone's hearts and give all who loved Mike a peace that again surpasses all understanding - let us embrace the fond memories of a man who probably left this world not realizing how many lives he touched in a positive way. That's how we choose to remember him as we wipe away the tears that have flowed the past couple of days. All our love to Dale & family.
