Masako Markie Conn of Mableton, GA went to heaven on January 2,2023. She was born in Okinawa, Japan in 1934. Masako was married to Ed “Willis” Conn for 61 years. She worked at South Cobb Skating Rink in Mableton for many years in Read Obituary
I remember when they owned or ran the old rink with the rolling wood floor. Very nice people. So sorry for your loss Nancy and Bobby and the entire family.

Our family has known Willis, Markie, Cortney for so many years. I can remember Markie working at the skating ringing, I remember she telling that was where she learned a lot of her english from us kids, Markie and Willis were so much a part of our live's, They came to our Christmas celebration's, baby showers, they were a blessing to be around. I adopted them as may grand parent's and the same with me, Poppie Conn and Granny Markie were such a big part of our life, when Will & I decided to get married, He gave me away, We both shed a few tear's. I remember him telling me He felt like he was loosing a daughter, I told him no, he was my grandpa and I would always be there for him and Granny Markie, I love them just as much as if they were my on grandparents, Makie I loved you with all my heart and know I will see you again, Rest In Peace now, you are in your home home now and Willis will find comfort here until the Lord decides it is time for him to join you, Thank you for the memories we share together I Loved you.
I have many good memories of Ms Masako at the Okinawan Club meetings and get togethers with my mom. Had the best Okinawan food, traditional Okinawan dancing & music . So much fun. Many good memories we’ll always treasure. I’m still in shock of her passing.
She was a very close & best friend to my Okinawan mom. She will be missed.. My family and I are Praying for her sweet family.
